Can I change my Facebook Profile name to a nickname?

Facebook requires "the name you go by in everyday life." You can change your name once every 60 days under Accounts Center > Profiles. You can also add a "Nickname" or "Maiden Name" in the About section, which will appear in parentheses next to your main name.
