Maya is both. Maya Philippines, Inc. is a licensed Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP), while Maya Bank, Inc. is one of the few digital banks licensed and regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). Deposits are PDIC-insured up to ?500,000 per depositor.
